Nearly 1000 players from Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania and the Americas are confirmed.
FootGolf was introduced to North America in November 18th, 2011. Since then, the America FootGolf League (AFGL) and the American FootGolf Federation (AFGF) have been working non-stop to create the platform for "the best game ever invented" to be played on golf courses from coast to coast and for FootGolf to be recognized as an organized sport by other sports organizations, players and sports enthusiasts in the country. Today United States FootGolf continues working very closely with the other FIFG Member Countries in the region, the Federacion Mexicana de FootGolf, the FootGolf Association of Canada and the Federación Hondureña de FootGolf to expand the game in North, Central America and the Caribbean nations.
The fourth official FootGolf world cup sanctioned by the Federation for International FootGolf, the worlds governing body for the sport, will be played this spring for 11 days at "the theme park capital of the world" and will be broadcast live by CTV Sports Media Group and Chukker TV. The organizer is the American FootGolf Federation, a non-profit organization.
